Does Cecola believe having a closed, rundown biker bar in the village limits is going to IMPROVE property values? The only conclusion I and some others have come to is he’s getting something out of this. Would NOT be the first time.
Is this for purchase of property? Why else is it in executive session?
This Annexation does not involve a purchase of the property.
“ Annexation is the process of bringing property into the City limits. It is one of the primary means by which cities grow. Cities annex territory to provide urbanizing areas with municipal services and to exercise regulatory authority necessary to protect public health and safety.”
There are no “Duh!” questions considering residents have been kept in the dark, and that will continue tonight when the wimps hide in exec session! Cecola is showing his true colors tonight and they’re yellow.
Why is the nearly $40,000 for video surveillance inside village hall even being considered when residents cannot enter without being buzzed in? Yet, we cannot listen to meetings because the audio is so poor.
What is wrong with this picture? This is BASS-ACKWARD, and just goes to show how ignorant and paranoid some on our board are!
Dear Duh – The question was somewhat rhetorical as there doesn’t appear to be an exception to discuss annexation of property in executive session, where there is to discuss purchase.
