The public comments from this meeting are worth a listen. You’re right to be scared, Austin. President Cecola pulled a total 180 at tonight’s meeting, public comment “isn’t a give and take, it’s not a dialogue”, to suit his purposes when being called out for not being forthright at the last meeting on the data center; yet at the January meeting Cecola full on engaged the audience during public comment, “none of the trustees wanted this, this was never going to happen.” So Cecola, why do you get to pick & choose on behalf of the trustees & village when public comment is responded to? There are other voices on the board and they have every right to speak up and call a BSer a BSer. Wise up, Laura, Jessica, Marsha, and likely Clark, you’re not part of Cecola’s club. It looks like 3 board members knew about the surprise December meeting guest. That sounds like an OMA violation. Even if not, it’s time the rest of you got the house in order.
