Barry Altshuler had his best “Resting Bitch Face” on display yesterday as he picketed with the other ‘Progressive’ candidates in downtown Barrington yesterday. Altshuler and Collister-Lazzari have continuously blocked from their Facebook campaign pages any person who asked tough questions about their record.
Yesterday, prior to the Progressive Picket, Altshuler deleted dozens of comments from the one post left on his page with comments that disagree with or question his actions in his 4 years in office.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Altshuler and Collister-Lazzari since they’ve been on the District 220 Board of Education, it is they have no tolerance for differing views. Their opinions are always unwavering, no matter what experts in their fields opine, and that’s just wrong…

Hypocrisy through and through. Don’t censor the graphic pictures of blow jobs, bodily excretions, self harm, and rape from the books you’re giving our kids, but censor our comments when we question you about it. VOTE MUNSON, BALDASSANO & SHERIFF!!!
I am shocked by how these incumbents have run their campaigns. But the most disturbing is the complete destruction of free speech. When we hear about “controlling the narrative”-this is it. When we read about showing a false front in countries like communist China or S. Korea-this is it. Blocking dissenting voices is the antithesis of representing your community. Deleting question and comments is the opposite of being a unifying voice.
This election, I hope our community votes for reasonable, freedom loving people whose only hope is something wonderful for their own kids and their neighbors kids. I hope this community votes for people who engage in two way dialogue with their community. I hope Barrington shows up and votes for honest, transparent people who treat others the way they would like to be treated. Munson, Baldassano and Sheriff for 220!
Typical progressive tactic, when the truth hurts, delete or limit who can comment😜.
Thank you for running, Katey Baldassano! Thank you for your honesty and transparency! You and your running mates, in fact, all of the Action PAC candidates have made yourselves available to the public, and to answer questions, even those that may challenge you. All of the “independent pac” candidates have hidden from the public, practiced deception in their campaigning, and literally engaged in the very act they accuse their opponents of (with exception of Diana who I’ve not seen any campaigning by). They are horrible roll models. Vote them out! Vote Baldassano, Munson & Sheriff for BOE, Dittman, Cunningham & Heidner for BAL, Dallstream for Trustee!
Now that the votes have been cast, I am gratified that our community voted for reasonable, freedom loving people whose only hope is something wonderful for their own kids and their neighbors kids. And the community voted for people who engage in two way dialogue with their community. Barrington showed up and voted for honest, transparent people who treat others the way they would like to be treated.
Thank you Barrington!
