April 30 Village Board meeting recordings released
May 8, 2014 by Barrington Hills Observer
The Village has released edited audio recordings from the April 30 Village Board meeting. To access the menu of the meeting’s topical audio recording segments, click here.
Nine residents provided public comments during the meeting. However one resident stood out with an incredibly honest and necessary message to some members of our Village Board pertaining to the ethics of them even considering amending Village Code as it pertains to commercial horse boarding.
A direct link to those comments can be found here.

I think more than one resident comment stands out………someone who has continually paid the price for standing up against corruption. Easy to talk. Hard to keep going when you are trashed publicly and property-wise. Those in the know will understand….
The commenter is 100% right. AND no Save 5 Acres trustee should be nominating ANY appointees to the ZBA. Most of the current ZBA members will do Meroni, Messer and Selman’s bidding right now but they fear any appointee who might actually speak the truth or ask legitimate questions!
Thank you “Truth, Whole Truth” for recognizing my effort in exposing to the public financial waste and mismanagement of resources by the Village’s prior administration. It is always nice to be recognized and appreciated.
In addition to recognizing me, you should also recognize former ZBA Chair, Jonathan Knight and of course, Publius who have always placed the interests of the Village and rule of law above BH government cronyism. Thank you, Mr. Knight.
Not knowing who you are, but reading your comments from time to time, I am sure even you in your own way “Truth” have made some small contribution for positive change in Village government. This small effort may simply be keeping yourself informed of on-goings at the Village Hall.
Thank you again, “Truth, Whole Truth” and let me reciprocate by giving a special kudos to you. It takes an educated voter like yourself to make positive change.
God bless David….he is the real voice of reason!
