Hurray for the public comments! Hurray for the new attorney on board! A big boo to Messer who thinks this community is going to support him in rehashing the home ordinance fiasco. How much money does he think he is going to make this community bleed for his selfish interests? Resign before you are arrested – hint; review the public comments…..
OOOOppppppss – I was referring to the April BOT meeting – not the March but the comment most likely still applies…
Very unprofessional performance Wednesday…Colleen..
Better grow up and change your attitude…no room on our Village Board for a spoiled “BRAT”……
Colleen is not a brat – and you are an a$$wipe to even put that in writing. So no one else has first amendments rights to speak their mind or represent the residents? The unprofessional performance is always headlined by Messer, Meroni, Gohl, Selman, and Harrington with chief clown little bobby abboud in the background – which documents that he is gutless. And in case no one knows – Trustee Hannigan responded to Messer’s questioning new appointments and his wanting to ‘vet’ (intimidate) these volunteers. Hannigan asked why he didn’t question any appointments last April – after bobby lost the election. That would coincide with little bobby making all those appointments in violation of the open meetings act…. BH Voter – too bad IQ testing is not a requirement to vote….you would be left in the dark.
B. H. Voter – I heard a completely different story from someone who attended the meeting who said Colleen did an outstanding job of confronting those on the board who are not acting in the village’s best interests. I’ll comment further when the recordings come out, but as I understand it Messer and his comrades are trying to delude people into believing two (or more) wrongs will somehow make a right when it comes to the legalization of a commercial boarding business in Barrington Hills and it didn’t fly thanks to her and the few others on hand who are honest.
BH Voter if you’ve got a problem and you’re going to call someone a disparaging name you should back it up with something concrete others on this message board might relate to who did not attend the meeting.
Otherwise I suggest people wait until recordings and minutes are released until voicing any opinions on your possibly narrow minded personal or politically motivated comment.
I was at the meeting. Colleen was just great!
Colleen was fantastic and spoke the truth. Instead of backing down from Trustee Messer’s normal bullying style, she held her ground, spoke facts and truths. Eager for the audio of the meeting to be released so that residents and voters will hear first hand the dialogue and witness the truth.
Time to encourage dialogue and Colleen had the guts not to back down. In the old regime, Messer bullied and Abboud prevented others (Skip) from speaking. Marty also did a great job restoring balance of opinion and bringing to the discussion an attorney not conflicted by unethical if not illegal practices of the past.
I AM PRAYING THAT WHEN ALL THE DIRTY LAUNDRY IS AIRED THAT THE ” BOBBIE 4″ GET TO DO A LITTLE JAIL TIME FOR THEIR DISREGARD OF THE LAW.
