The Barrington Hills Park District Advisory Committee meets this evening at 7PM. The primary topic of discussion is, “Explore possibility of a better time for Riding Club on weekends (as opposed to?).”
A copy of their agenda can be viewed here. Instructions for attending the meeting via Zoom can be found here.
The 15-acre Riding Center should be sold to Forest Preserves of Cook County and the revenue should be used to invest in a new more centrally located village hall with a REAL board room.
Let’s face it, Cook County residents are getting hosed paying taxes to the Park District AND Forest Preserves while any shmo from outside this village is allowed to used the riding center. How is that far when the majority of residents let alone those in Cook don’t even use the riding center in the first place?
