“As you are aware, we have experienced very cold temperatures over the past couple of days that will continue into tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21. The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for our area for Tuesday. Therefore, in alignment with our Severe Cold Response Plans, Barrington 220 will implement a Cold Action Day on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025.
COLD ACTION DAY: All Barrington 220 schools will be OPEN and several protocols will be in place to ensure student safety, such as suspending all outside activities during arrival and throughout the day.
Extracurricular activities after school will be evaluated and may be suspended if conditions persist; updates will be posted on each school’s website. Please check school websites for the most up-to-date information.
