A 54-year-old man was hospitalized after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a sedan before driving off the roadway into a ditch in Barrington Hills.
The Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District and Barrington Hills Police Department responded around 7:08 p.m. Saturday to Deepwood Road and West County Line Road for a vehicle crash with injuries.
Barrington Hills Police Department Press Information Officer William Walsh said a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling eastbound on County Line Road.
The driver, a 54-year-old Barrington Hills man, apparently lost control of his motorcycle, Walsh said.
Walsh said the Harley-Davidson entered the westbound lane of traffic and struck a 1999 Lexus GS 300, which was traveling west.
The motorcycle then traveled off the roadway into the ditch, Walsh said.
