Barrington village trustees approved a new four-year contract for Village Manager Scott Anderson, which includes a salary increase and a performance bonus.
The board unanimously authorized the contract as part of the consent agenda at Monday’s village board meeting.
The contract began Monday and runs through May 2029.
Under the new agreement, Anderson’s annual base salary will increase from $225,000 to $250,000, and he will receive a $10,000 performance bonus by the end of June 2025.
In addition, the agreement contains:
- A $6,000 annual vehicle allowance, payable monthly
- A $50 monthly stipend for cellphone expenses
- Memberships in professional organizations including the International City/County Management Association and Illinois City/County Management Association
- Funding for attendance at professional development conferences
- Standard insurance and retirement benefits in line with other non-sworn exempt village employees
