The Village has sent residents a direct mail invitation to a forum this Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at village hall to discuss Village finances with Trustee Karen Selman. For those who have not received or read it, the mailing reads as follows:
Got A Question?
The MUG CLUB offers residents a chance to chat with their trustees in a casual setting. This Mug Club will feature Trustee Karen Selman. She is the Finance Committee Chairman as well as the liaison to the Equestrian Commission and Communications Committee.
Stop by the village hall Saturday March 2nd between 11am and 1pm. Have a cup of coffee and conversation with Trustee Selman.
In addition to the “Mug Club” announcement, the mailer also promotes participation in the upcoming BACOG private well testing program.
Nice try, Bob; is this a takeoff on Channel 7 ” mug club”? it’s a little late to be cleaning up the images of your outgoing Board. Treating residents with courtesy and respect at Board meetings, would have been a preferrable alternative to showcasing the Trustees in this typically phony forum. “chatting” with the Board is about as inviting as walking on broken glass, I’lk take a pass.
since budget seems to be the big theme and battleground between bobby and marty, does’t the timing of this ‘friendly conversation’, and the direct mail to all residents, seem a little opportunistic, especially from a Board who deflected questions in Public Meetings and threatened arrest fpr speakinf out in a manner considered by bobby and joe to be contentious bobby and and abbodites need to be called on this
its political; village resources are being used
another thought.
Is there a way to determine if rga labs is actually doing business. if it is a corp, it should file annual state reports, which are obtainable. if no reports, why not. if he claims to be operating an energy consulting company and he is not, then this LIE should be made public
Jim
Good point…Thank you Jim
