Per a recent Village Facebook posting:
“Beginning July 7, 2025, the Illinois Department of Transportation is scheduled to commence resurfacing Dundee Road (IL 68), beginning at Kane County’s eastern line and ending at Algonquin Road (IL 62). The project is expected to be completed in just over a month, weather permitting.
The yellow line indicates the section of the road planned for resurfacing. Drivers are asked to obey the flaggers, obey signage, and proceed with caution.
