Village of Barrington Hills will receive single prime sealed bids for Village Hall Renovations until TBD local time on June 17, 2025 at the Village Hall, 112 Algonquin Road, Barrington, Illinois60010, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

This project includes: Demolition and renovation of existing interior spaces within the Barrington Hills Village Hall located on Algonquin Road in Barrington, Illinois. Renovation of the village hall will include, but not be limited to interior framing and gypsum wall assemblies, doors and frames, painting gypsum walls/ceilings, acoustic ceilings, carpet, tile, resilient flooring, millwork, finish carpentry, solid surface, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, electrical lighting, and technology. A pre-bid conference will be held on Monday, June 9th, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. CST at the Village of Barrington Hills located at 112 Algonquin Road, Barrington, Illinois 60010. Unscheduled visits will not be permitted. If there is a need to schedule a visit outside of the above mentioned pre-bid conference, please contact Wold Architects and Engineers to schedule an appointment. Please Allow for a minimum of 24 hours notice. All site visits should be completed prior to June 17, 2025.
Bidders may obtain drawings and specifications for the project from ARC Document Solutions, LLC. (Phone: 833-272-8880) at the following location: https://customer.e-arc.com/arcEOC/ARCPlanRoom.aspx. The bid documents will be available about June 2, 2025. via the ‘Public Plan Room that can be found under the “Print Center” link on the homepage. for ability to download, order and view plans and specifications. This link will also provide locations of Builders Exchanges holding plans for contractors to access. Prospective bidders may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from ARC at their own expense.
Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder’s bond payable to Village of Barrington Hills in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond.
Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding.
The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before January 10, 2026.
