Illinois Mycological Association Display and Sale: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, at Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake-Cook Road, Glencoe. The show celebrates the richness of fall mushrooms in Illinois. Exhibits 50 to 100 varieties of mushrooms foraged from area forests in the days prior to the show. Members of the Illinois Mycological Association provide information and answer questions regarding mushrooms and fungi. Mushroom-related books, T-shirts and other items are for sale.
