Missed the formulation of an advisory committee for our Barrington Hills Park District and wonder why it’s in place with what written objective. Is that common practice for an elected Board to also add an advisory committee?
8 members on the committee. 5 are from either the Fox Valley or Barrington Hills Riding clubs. A 6th operates Castleton House and self describes as 3rd generation equestrians. A 7th, uses “crazyhorse” in email address. The 8th is presumably not there to provide insights beyond equestrian interests.
