Dominic Green of Barrington Hills has a vision of a community that is profoundly connected to its local farms.
In 2008, while he and his wife Jessica were living in Chicago, Green owned a small farm in Barrington Hills where he was interested in growing a vegetable garden.
After the couple took a winter course at Angelic Organics, a farm east of Rockford, they learned about organic agriculture and later decided to try their hand at farming.
