I wonder if people are paying attention. The chair of the zoning board stated during the meeting she had NO idea our code allowed that “any person owning or having an interest in property ‘here’ can initiate an amendment (zoning code amendment) and so that is occurring and they can file an application as Bob (Kosin) described.”
First of all why was our ZBA chair clearly ignorant of VBH code? Second who told her that and third what are the specific criteria of “having an interest here” when it comes to code amendments proposals every taxpaying resident in Barrington Hills might have to live under when this kangaroo court board makes a recommendation?
These are serious questions that need answering.
