Silly Question….
Is the disease only transmissible from horse-to-horse in direct contact?
Can humans be vectors, transmitting it on footwear if going to an area where horses are ridden and in stall areas?
Because above….. On March 11th it was announced….. “The Barrington Hills Park District Board of Commissioners is scheduled to meet at 7:00 PM tonight at the Riding Center located at 361 Bateman Rd. ”
Because if it could be carried from contact to the floor of the areas where horses are known to have had it. I would think it would be a concern of transmission between other places where horses or horse people meet.
