A copy of his letter to Maria Pappas spilled out of the mailed copy of the newsletter. What are the odds that a copy of her reply destroying his classless whines will be forwarded to all residents?
I glanced quickly at the Village Newsletter before pitching it into the recycling bin. One heading (followed by a long dissertation) was “why are our tax bills going up?” Simple answer; government spends too much. This includes “bully pulpit” newsletters. Assessed valuations, tax rates, equalizers, exemptions are all part of the formula to fund waste. It’s not as complicated as the Prez makes it out to be. Save money; scrap the newsletter.
My apologies, in Line 5, of my June 5th post, I meant “multipliers” and not “equalizers”, but in a sense these “multipliers” DO equalize,
