Upper Parking Lot of the Field of Dreams Complex
“Have fun smashing your pumpkins for composting at the Village of Barrington’s Pumpkin Smash event being held tomorrow at Barrington High School’s upper parking lot of the Field of Dreams complex, adjacent to Hart Road. This free event is open to the public and is held in partnership with the Barrington Environmental Advisory Committee, Barrington 220 and SCARCE.
Barrington Public Works Fleet Foreman Matt Heller has generously donated his 1,115-pound pumpkin, which recently took fourth place in a pumpkin-growing contest. The pumpkin will meet its smashing fate at the event for all to see!”
