Palatine Street Fest returns this week with live music, family activities, food and drinks.
Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, Aug. 22; noon to midnight Saturday, Aug. 23; and 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, in downtown Palatine, around Slade and Brockway streets. Admission is free. For details, visit palatine.il.us.

Participating food vendors include: Annie’s Restaurant and Pancake House, American Legion Corn Boil, Badass Bavarian Pretzels, Chicago Culinary Kitchen, Daisy’s Ice Cream, Finuccio & Sons, Mexico Uno, My Funnel Truck & Lemonade, Rep’s Place, Salsa Street, Tievoli Pizza Bar, and Tre Amici Pizza.

While you’re there, visit the “Backyard Lounge” in Towne Square, a space where families can sit and relax on shaded picnic tables and lounge chairs and enjoy yard games and family entertainment. The setting also includes a second bar and local eats. There are no coolers, backpacks or pets allowed at Street Fest.
From 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the Palatine Farmers Market will be held in the east train station parking lot downtown.
Street Fest is a cashless event. Visitors should plan to purchase alcohol with a debit card, credit card, or a cashless mobile payment application (Apple Pay, Google Pay). Food vendors may choose to accept cash and/or credit.
Street Fest is in the heart of downtown Palatine at the intersection of Brockway and Slade streets (north of Palatine Road between Plum Grove Road and Smith Street). Parking is encouraged in the downtown parking garage.
