On November 4th, we posted the following message from the Barrington Area Library (BAL):
“Please note that the Village of Barrington Hills lockers and drop box will be temporarily unavailable beginning Monday, November 6, 2023.”
Today, five (5) weeks later, residents can pick and return library materials at Village Hall again. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a two week interruption in service ended up being more than double that, however, the BAL had nothing whatsoever to do with the delay.
Opined before the tile didn’t need to be replaces and people at the library expressed frustration over the lack of communication from the village (Riff). A total waste of time and our money and I’m convinced Riff still doesn’t get it! He’s like a character from Succession!
