Five candidates will compete for three trustee seats on the Barrington Hills village board in the April 2 election.
Filing paperwork to get on the ballot for the election were incumbents Bryan Croll and Brian Cecola, along with Debra Buettner, Louis Iacovelli and Linda H. Cools.
The window for candidates to file nominating petitions to get on the ballot closed Monday.
