The Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District (BCFPD) Board of Trustees meets tonight at 6:30 PM at 22222 N. Pepper Road in Lake Barrington. Some of the topics on their agenda include:
- Consideration and possible approval of Landscape agreement for 1004 S Hough (May we see the bids, please?)
- Consideration and possible approval of salary adjustments for personnel (When was the last time personnel got an “adjustment,” and what “adjustment” is now being considered?)
- Consideration and possible approval of a proposal for a new ambulance (What is being proposed, and how many companies bid?)
As one might suspect, we’re not pleased with the amount of information provided to tax payers by the BCFPD, and we haven’t been for years. Their agendas lack any information for residents to consider attending, and minutes are nonexistent for this or any other meeting according to their website.
