For the second month in a row you can barely make out one in maybe ten words being said when I phoned in. You’re better off not offering the service at all since this is unacceptable and only serves to embarrass volunteer members of the Zoning Board when they hear about this later.
Re: the Zoning Board meeting tonight. Is it an idea that all the village inhabitants should commit to providing an increase in taxes of 0.5 cents to the Village taxes so the Board can actually get an audio system that works? Of course, that is contingent upon the Board learning how to use the audio system. The only thing that comes through and the listeners can hear during these meetings now is the Board members laughing. The rest is just garbled. It’s disgraceful for a community that is taxed so much and touted as being “affluent”, which is now changing since so many “estates” are being sold at rock bottom prices.
Thank you to the McArdles for having their landscape trailer parked on LC Road for over 2 years resulting in leaving pot holes on the north side of the road which are difficult to avoid with traffic. Also, thanks to them for re-routing the water table off their property to the north side of Steeplechase which is constantly flooded now which never happened before in 40 years. The water constantly rushes from their property onto Steeplechase during heavy rains. Does “ME,ME,ME come to mind?
