A lot of people are worried about the future of our country, but sadly one group we expect to be working on that — i.e., the U.S. Congress — is not doing the job.
Just listen to the hearings on CSPANTV and you’ll see members of both parties working harder to score political points than they are on strengthening our nation. We expect some of this, but the problem has become that it’s almost the only thing that they do.
We need to change their incentives and get Congress back to passing laws that protect and strengthen our country and discourage their self-serving political antics.

Mr. Bishop said it perfectly! Ours is stated to be a country of government “of the people, by the people and for the people,” not a country of politicking by those in office. We have the power to change that by voting. Please exercise your right to vote in November.
When this nation was founded, our leaders has their own businesses as farmers, printers, manufacturers, distillers, etc. They came together to do the business of the people and then returned to their commerce. This kept them grounded in the real world. Now politicians see their business as government and only seek to keep their life long jobs, passing them onto wives and children in many cases. This is almost a return to the feudal system that our ancestors fled. They work for their interests instead of ours. Trump is an outsider and has the vision that includes ALL of America, of all races, creeds and colors. He has our interests at heart as evidenced by the economy that he built. To change that is a return to the 2008-2016 era where we prostrated ourselves before the world community and were beholden to Communist China. We not only need to retain Trump and our vision of an excellence in the USA, but also vote in the type of Congress to further advance those goals.
