We’ll be publishing more news on the 2019 Barrington Hills election as it becomes available.
I’m looking at the vote tallies, and there is clearly cause for concern in Barrington Hills. It seems 269 residents who voted had their senses or even souls possessed prior to entering the voting booths to cast their ballot. That’s the only plausible explanation when reading the results!
A victory for all in Barrington Hills, especially for VBH President, Martin McLaughlin and Trustee, Colleen Konicek-Hannigan who (thanks to the residents in Barrington Hills) six years ago were given the opportunity to implement their vision of an ethical, efficient and less costly village government without a compromise in services.
With such a quiet election this time around resulting in the greatest margin of victory yet, the momentum built by McLaughlin and Konicek Hannigan in 2013 during more acrimonious times continues to grow. We are truly experiencing a golden age of politics and government in Barrington Hills.
