A man in his 20s was struck by a car and killed in Barrington Hills late Saturday, officials said.
At about 11:50 p.m. Barrington Hills emergency responders were called to the intersection of Dundee Road and Potter Lane for a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
Officers found a 28-year-old man who had been struck, according to the Barrington Hills Police Department. East Dundee Fire Department paramedics rushed the man to Sherman Hospital in Elgin where he was pronounced dead, police said. The man’s identity had not been released Sunday morning.
