The Village Board will meet on Monday July 24th at 6:30 PM. The agenda can be viewed here and the e-Packet can be found here. Of special note is a petition for de-annexation of 2400 Spring Creek Road, owned by Barrington Hills Farms, which was cited in recent building enforcement reports for demolition of a residence without a permit and possible violation of the Heritage Tree Ordinance.
Barrington Hills farms should be held to the letter of the law. Money doesn’t buy privilege and they should be held accountable just like any other resident!
So the new “conservation” mecca calling itself Barrington Hills Farms doesn’t believe in obeying the tree ordinance? And they don’t bother to get necessary permits? And now they want out? I hope they do go, but not until they make things right and pay the necessary fees and fines.
And speaking of the ol’ farm, where are all the horses? Haven’t seen a single one on the property.
During public comment at the ZBA meeting, a resident requested that ZBA member David Stieper should be removed from Zoning Board for expressing an opinion on Face Book and that he does not possess the same values as the community at large. Why is this not on the agenda and will the Board be considering the charges made publicly by the resident against Mr. Stieper?
My Dear Friend;
Would you please give it a rest. This is not the proper forum to discuss personal problems and it is embarrassing to the community at large.
Thanks
