
The closures were as a result of an earlier accident approximately 8:40 am between a semi-truck and a CN train. The semi-truck headed southbound on Route 59 andwas struck by the train in the tail end. The truck was pushed off the tracks to the south and struck two vehicles. The truck driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
There was no train derailment – CN arrived on scene and was able to clear the way to move the train by 10:45 am.
