The Illinois Comptroller’s Office recently announced a new web portal that provides searchable financial information for most all governmental taxing bodies. A myriad of financial reports are available for viewing including county, municipal, township and district reports.
While the data is not as current as one might prefer, the website does provide a near single source repository of government finance information.
