Watch and listen carefully as Abboud tries to distance himself from this issue (he was never for it in the first place!). He will attempt to lie his way out of this, although the truth (which he knows nothing of) is that this was a referendum about trusting him and his gang of 5. He and his gang of 5 suffered a huge defeat – and this does portend better days ahead for the Village of Barrington Hills.
This defeat was more about residents distrust for Abboud and elected cronies than the substance of the referendum. Now watch Abboud perform his spin (ie. how he was not for the referendum and he himself voted against it.)
A replay of the cell tower and light ordinance debacles both of which Abboud originated and foisted upon his commissions but when rejected by the public denied he supported. Thanks to websites like the observer and “PBH” the emporer has been exposed and the naked truth about Abboud is now visible for all to see. We all know, it ain’t a pretty sight.
