The “Silent Trustee”, the one since her election not uttering more than a word or two at a public VBH Board Meeting, until the last few meetings, is now going to address the world on “Community Activism – Equestrian Style”? The grapevine is shouting that she wants to run for some kind of office in McHenry County. Be very wary, folks. To understand what her kind of activism is all about, go to the following site: http://www.nikiraapana.com/community_activism.html.
Her tactics are well practiced by at least 3 other members of the VBH Board and the Village President. Ridicule all those opposed? Of course! Her presence on this Board will not be missed should she run and win in the County, but pity the poor body she should be elected to.
Community Activism – Equestrian Style? Mmmmm – does that include silencing the non-equestrians? That’s how it is on this end of the world. Look out McHenry County – the quiet demeanor may fool some of the people – others can read her like a book….
I know this woman. She is not to be trusted!
I couldn’t help but notice that this Trustee is the liaison to our Plan Commission which is meeting at the exact same time on Monday night. She is supposed to be presenting her monthly Trustee’s report to the Plan Commission at that meeting.
But she’ll be in Woodstock talking about equine issues.
I guess we know where her priorities lie.
Elaine cares only for Elaine!
After browsing the article “community activism”, I have a few thoughts: 1. It’s an aggregation of cliches to disguisre more government; 2. The conspiracy theory may be that Elaine Ramesh is wearing two hats when she becomes a “speaker” to the horsey community, and is BH liason to McHenry County Planning, with not too much success convincing anyone of anything; 3 This subject and presenter are only slighttly less boring than BACOG Director Agnoletti reading warmed over, outdated statistics on water quality. For what is obvious to most of us, BACOG appears on the Plan Commission agenda Monday evening. Oh, what a dilemma! Get out the 5-hour energy boost and sit in on Plan Commission, or the Horse Club? .
