The Barrington Hills Observer

The Lake County Health Department has partnered with the Barrington Area Council of Governments to prevent waterborne illnesses and promote private well maintenance through the use of testing.

Private well owners can purchase $10 bacteria and nitrate testing kits March 5-9 at 10 different locations. Those water samples then must be dropped off at The Garlands of Barrington on March 13, where they will be tested.
