Barrington School District 220 plans to propose a 4.03 percent increase for its tax levy — but administrators say taxpayers won’t see an increase nearly that high.
The proposed property tax levy, paired with a tax levied by the county for bonds, would bring in $120,934,069. The school district receives 83 percent of its operating revenue from taxes on properties in its district.
