Two squad cars, a village inspector’s car, neighbor’s cars and a Greg Daniels & Co. landscaping truck pulled up to a two-story attached home in Barrington Hills on Tuesday morning, parked and work began on the high weeds and grass surrounding the neglected home.

 The home became a point of controversy the night before at the Village Board meeting, as a loud argument erupted over who was responsible for the home at 908 Rub of the Green Lane, and what should be done to resolve the potential health and safety issues.
