Those who want to help beautify Barrington Hills are encouraged to participate in a roadside trash pick up Saturday.

The village’s Beautification Committee is holding the bi-annual event beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Village Hall, 112 Algonquin Road. There participants will register and then listen to a safety tutorial by the police department before hitting the assigned roadsides in groups at 9 a.m. to fill bags with trash. Clean up will last about two hours.
