As of Thursday morning, more than 600 Barrington Hills residents did not have power, in an area heavily reliant on septic and well water use.
Four major roads were closed during part of the week, including Ridge, Braeburn, Oak Knoll and Spring Creek roads, creating an interruption to an estimated 21,000 vehicle movements in four days, Kosin said.
