Investigators have identified a man found strangled in a forest preserve near South Barrington as a Waukegan resident.

Cook County Forest Preserve District police have identified the murder victim as David Campbell, who would have turned 28 this month and whose last known address was in Waukegan, spokesman Mike Truppa said.
